Hello Classmates,

Jada Jones, RHS class of 2026, has been awarded our Class of 69 Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. She plans to attend North Carolina A & T State University with an emphasis in Applied Culture Thought and a minor in Spanish. She was a member of the marching band, symphonic band and jazz band, as well as serving on student council and National Honor Society. She carries a 3.9 GPA and will graduate 24th in her class.

The Committee is encouraged by the academic talent and community involvement RHS is continuing to produce in its students. The need for financial aid is increasing as well.

More donations are needed to ensure our RHS Class of 1969 Scholarship will continue to help RHS graduates attain their dreams for years to come. Those who have made tax deductible donations make our class scholarship possible – thank you! For those that have not (or wish to donate again), please help support this worthy cause now.

There are several ways you can donate:

Checks: Make payable to Raytown Educational Foundation and write Raytown High School Class of 1969 Scholarship in the memo line to ensure it goes to our scholarship. Mail to: Raytown Educational Foundation, 10750 E. 350 Highway, Raytown, MO 64138.

Online: Raytown Educational Foundation (REF) website https://ref.raytownschools.org/.
Click on "Giving" – under "Ways to Give" click on "Make a Gift Online" and choose RHS 1969 under – "Please designate my donation"; fill out the form and use your credit card. Make sure you choose RHS 1969 from the "Please designate my donation" dropdown.

Wire transfers and stock transfers (you do not pay any capital gains with stock transfers to a 501c3) - Contact Mrs. Martha Cockerell at REF for instructions at 816-268-7181.

The Raytown Class of 1969 was special and many of us have been blessed to live long, productive lives. We need to be remembered as a class that truly made a difference.
